Sometimes tests do not need to be taken on a specific day but rather in a specific time period. Meaning that it may be that you can take your test earlier or as late as possible to avoid posting tests back to us on the weekend. This is because, Royal Mail do not deliver on Sunday’s which can often lead to build ups and therefore delays in delivery.
All accredited suppliers of covid testing must adhere to strict requirements laid out by the UK Government, which can change/be updated regularly. One of these requirements is that UK Health Testing MUST use Royal Mail Tracked 24 service for the PCR testing service, when used swabs are being returned. Please Note: this is not a guaranteed 24 hour delivery service and if a Royal Mail ‘Priority’ post box is not used to return the swab, this will not reach its destination and will be destroyed due to contamination risks.
If you cannot see your the barcode number on the test tube on the online registration form or the number on the registration form does not match the barcode you have, please email us at info@ukhealthtesting.com making sure to include your order number in your email.
Customer will receive an automated message when we receive the swab confirming receipt and results can take 24-48 hours from this point. If you receive a notification from us advising that your swab was out of date, this is due to it exceeding the 75 hour window that testing must commence within.
An inconclusive result can be produced most commonly from the test being taken incorrectly. Another reason is that along with other nasal only tests, individuals who have had an operation or significant procedure on their nose can be known to produce an inconclusive result in some cases.
